Dr. Gross was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and came to the United States at age thirteen. He lived in New York City as a child and attended elementary school and high school. He then moved to Washington D.C. to attend the George Washington University, where he earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Zoology. Since he always had a love for medicine, he applied and was accepted to the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, an excellent school with outstanding medical training.
After medical school, Dr. Gross decided to return to New York City, where his internship was completed at the Beth Israel Medical Center followed by a three-year residency in Diagnostic Radiology at New York Medical College.
During his residency, which took place in the Vietnam War era, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and spent two years as a physician in the Medical Corps. He was stationed in Ft. Mire, Virginia in the Walter Reed U.S. Army Health Clinic. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency in 1975, followed by nine years as a diagnostic radiologist in Albuquerque New Mexico in a private practice. Dr. Gross has been a resident of Texas, where he has been practicing in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area and a short stint to Houston since 1984.
Dr. Gross and his wife and have two children, both of whom live in Texas, one in Las Colinas another in Austin, Texas. Both he and his wife are interested in the performing arts and they attend many theater and music events in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex. They belong to many of the areas museums and spend time off attending local events in the arts. They are both avid wine collectors with a large collection, which has been acquired over many years.
Dr. Gross is an avid photographer and enjoys photography when traveling. His love of photography makes Hawaii his favorite place to travel because of the natural beauty that is conducive to great photography.
